strange tyre wear

Hi guys anyone out there point me in the right direction.... I own a gorgeous 1994 300tdi disco. I look after her well. I put new tyres on her 5000 miles ago and the front n/s has developed odd tyre wear. It is nothing like shoulder wear and the likes, seems to be unjulating like a cog;so as I drive down the road it is similar to running over a rumble strip. The vehicle has only done 100000 miles, not often bondoo bashed and before anyone says anything I am very experienced at offroading. Any suggestions on the problem would be much obliged

steering and or suspensions parts busted or worn. i assume you've did the common stuff like having yer trackin done and checked yer wheel bearings. so have a look at yer bushes and the like. or perhaps its something simple like a lost balance weight but thats unlikey to cause the wear you're talking about.

it does smack of wheel alignment being out of wack.
