(Have posted this before, but not in this section.) I've got a 2002 P38 Vogue SE.
Couple of weeks ago, EAS indicator on dashboard starting showing flashing light on standard height, taking a while to get there, sometimes 15 mins or so. No EAS fault shows, and it seems only front drivers side not raised. But does eventually rise and then it's great for a bit, then next day same thing at first, eventually correcting. No EAS fault showing.
One morning I thought my RR had gone into melt down, opened door with all sorts of clicks and noises, no start on turn of key, nothing. Dashboard displaying every error from gearbox fault, airbag fault, you name it, it came up. Boosted battery, everything OK, no faults showing, so have changed battery and all seems well.
But now i'm back to the EAS, lights flashing and eventually rises to full height, not on bump stops, well mostly not, most of the car rises a bit, then completely other times.
Took the car out today, and after a belt up the motorway the EAS rose to the correct height and then went down to motorway height and back to standard height as it should, car has behaved perfectly for the rest of the day. Can't help wondering if my battery is draining overnight.
Any suggestions would really be appreciated. Our local RR dealers are dreadful, but there doesn't seem to be any people who are happy to look at it, I just keep getting referred to the main dealer. Perhaps a battery drain test would be a good start?
