I like things looking original on Henry. Most things aint as he is a lump of miss fits and bodges but I still like it to look 1965 ish.
Got sick of changing cheap bulbs in the back so plumped for LED stop and tail. Dont like em much but at least they will last. Found a problem when testing them as the brake light wasnt much different from tail. They do go a bit brighter but not by much.
So today I fitted a high level brake light. Dont like that either as its a bit modern for the old fella. Better than a rear end bump I suppose.

Inside the vehicle or outside mounted on the hard top? It's baltic trying to do any jobs on the landy but I had to fix the windscreen wash. Turns out the whole line was full of crud blocking the washer jets. Not a grovelling around job but just standing around I got cold. Fixed the bastard and after about two months I've got screen washing. Luxury :D.

I put it over the door on the hard top. Probably a bit high but id rather those behind know what Im doin.
Was a bit cold today but I managed to do a bit more on my pending drawer unit in the back. Just botching a bit of timber together for a couple of drawers fitted in the well between the arches. Ill be a bit closer if the rain holds off tomorrow.

Are you going to cut the tub inside to create access? I had that on a 109 many years ago crept it was between wheel arch and back of the tub. Always think LR could have thought of these places for storage.

Oh no sorry between the L&R arches in the back of the well.
Exactly like this but different............

I have stopped it short of the back doors so there is still room to sit on the sides and put ya feet down but no it dont come out. I have however sheeted from one side to the other so plenty of room on top.

That's an interesting crossmember you've got.
Just a stock photo off google.............. not mine.
Like I said, just like this one but completely different. :D

Built the box and installed the runners but no drawers yet. Cant finish it until I have finished a bit of wiring that runs behind it. I am having trouble with a radio controlled switch to turn the eberspacher heater on from inside the house. The wiring diagrams were a bit sketchy but have the answer now from the supplier. When done the heater will warm and defrost the car while I'm in the shower.............. #toasty.

I like that. My heater fell to bits in November at the time I was doing the bulkhead. I'm grateful for a mild winter (so far). Main item I need is the heater cowling - on the hunt for a secondhand unit.
