Hi LZ.
We're currently in Spain, Elchorro near Malaga. The plan was to head in to Morroco, but can't move from here.
Are our way down through France we cleaned out the one-way fuel filter valve to fix an engine stutter (violent shudder/stall at speed). She ran perfectly since then. Now, after a minor mishap fording a river and flooding the front corner of the ECU which was badly sealed and not elevated. She starts but limps so badly that we can only move in low ratio. No power at all beyond 2500rpm and eventually cuts out completely.
We also appear to have what look like a sooty deposit on the looker's right of the intercooler and only deposit around the turbo area.
Short of replacing the lot, Turbo, intercooler and ECU, does anyone have any suggestions?
