I got a big plastic storage box, complete with lid, for £9.99 from Trago Mills.
It fits nicely on top of the wheel arch and holds loads of stuff, and it's waterproof.
When it breaks, I'll buy another (although it's lasted a year so far and suffered no damage or deterioration).

i was just going to go down £stretcher but i wanted something a little sturdier and water/splash proof is the way to go!
