Stolen Series 1 Landrover

Land Rover stolen from outside my house in Northampton between 7:30pm & 9:15pm on Wednesday 4th April. Reg no. TKO 356 Series 1 SWB 1955 Green. New Tilt, 5 New tyres. The VIN number is 57100555. The Engine number is 57100555 and it is a Daihatsu 2.8 Turbo Diesel from a 1984 Fourtrak. It has parabolic springs, 205 x 16 Grabber tyres, & Long wheelbase brakes. The new tilt was made by Undercover Covers. It has a repaired rear nearside wing, just behind the wheel. It has been repaired with a steel plate. (It wasn’t me)
The chassis was not galvanised, I had very recently repaired the front off side chassis near the spring hanger. The front wings had repair plates.
I won’t give all the distinguishing features so the thief can’t disguise the features but I would be able to spot it in a thousand, and identify it for the police.If spotted please contact Northamptonshire police (Phone 101) Any help would be appreciated.

Lovely vehicle damn shame some buerk stuck that engine in it! I guess some people do silly stuff. Will keep my eyes peeled for it

Keep an eye on ebay and other auction sites. They probably dont even know what they have.

Wish that were true... sadly i bet they know exactly what they have, stole it knowing that Series 1 prices are very high and the parts are very desirable.
