Watch out for cheap ones,as seal ages the water gets trapped in the foam and they never dry out unless the sun shines for a month.

How thick are these foam seals? It seems that a roll of adhesive foam tape would be a cheaper way of doing it.

The 6mm would probably do it - depends how squashy it is I suppose. Handy stuff to have anyway on the shelf
