Stereo's

I folks - just picked up a nice 95 4.6 HSE - Very chuffed so far and I'll get pics and the like done soonest.

I did have one quick question/curiosity about the stereo. Having view some of the threads about stereo upgrades and the like I understand that there is a Harman Kardon system fitted to some cars - Is there anyway to distinguish this from a 'standard' system.

If anybody has any pictures or schematics that might help then please let me know!

Meantime - I've a few small faults to fix so doubtless I'll be poking around in the forum!

The chances are you will have a clarion head unit, which is specifically manufactured for the P38 Range Rover. It provides speaker outputs to amplifiers in the doors, as well as a sub bass unit it the boot.

Some people say that they have changed out the head unit without any problems, others disagree - so beware!

Hi jim asked the same question a bit ago.... my 2001 has no markings on the radio...but the speekers say Harmon Kardon on them????
