Hi All,
I have searched round the forum but nothing much describes my problem.
When I turn on the stereo All I get is static sound like you used to get on the analogue radio's when searching for a station, also it doesn't have any sound coming out of one of the front speakers.
However the head unit seams to display things as it should.
I have been made aware that the DSP on the Range Rover is complicated and the head unit isn't as simple to change as a normal car.
So my first question is has anyone else ever had this problem.
Also, does anyone know anything about the stereo system or how it's wired up, am I likely to knacker something serious up if I pull out the head unit and start testing connections with my multi meter.
Any other idea's are more than welcome, my dad used to be a sparky so I won't be on my own, it's a nice system in the Range Rover looking foreword to sorting it.
Cheers
John
