A little advice please if I can. I'd like to change the cassette stereo in my 2002 Disco 2 for something a lot more modern (maybe a dvd player with built in sat-nav or at least mp3 player) but have noticed the current stereo is din and a half size whereas most stereos etc are either single din or double din. Does anyone know if it's possible to get an adapter facia to change it to single din? I found one before for my Mercedes C Class when I changed the stereo in there but haven't found anything yet for a Disco.

Any help greatly appreciated and many many thanks for a terrific and knowledgeable forum.

As said above , if you pull out the standard one you will see its a normal single din behind . Hence why you can't find any facia for it . Just get a harness adapter then plug and go

You might want to add part number FHY100290LNF. It's a the facia finisher that clips in under the replacement head unit to fill the gap left by the Din + a bit sized Landie stereo front panel.

It should be there in place already, it was on mine.

Did it depend on what spec stereo was factory fitted? Ours has the seperate amp under the seat and three way speaker system with back door subs. Removing the factory fit HU definitely left that gap, it's the only part I've ever bought from the dealer. :p
