After reading loads of threads on here I think I've sussed the twitchy handling. I swapped the tyres front to back, part worn michelins are now on the back some cheap ats on the front and it is very very much better running 38 rear and 28 front. Thanks everyone. Wife might let me keep it now.

Try running 28 rear unloaded, you may find it's even better.

i've understood that many run 28 squared too, i keep mine at 28F and 32R only because i often tow

When I load up or tow I up the pressure and always check all pressures before any trip.

I had loads of issues with mine and eventually all was cured by replacing front axle ball joints now it sits fine with uneven pressures
