Steering wheel change

Hi,
does anybody know if it is an easy job to swap a steering wheel on a 1999 TD5, I have a tatty leather steering wheel with an air bag fitted, that looks terrible, I have bought a second hand one in good condition minus the air bag and wondered if it is an easy job for me to do without the air bag blowing up in my face!

Hope someone can help.

Welcome , know it can be done on other cars not sure on Disco's.
