Hi all ,, bit of an update today ..
I fitted the HD track rod , I removed the old one and matched the length of the new HD to it , I was then going to try to set the tracking myself .... but thought better of it , took her in at my local tyre place where I know the guys , they were happy to set the tracking for me using the laser tool , they were pleased that I had all new linkage as the guy said they avoid doing them as they are normally seized .. when they set the tracking they had to adjust both the track rod and the drop link .. with them having the tools it didnt take very long ...
The guys at the garage complemented my on the landy and said that she is very straight .. and he said that the Hd rods were really good ...
time for a beer ....
