Mine arrived this morning, looks OK but I will do a hardness test with a punch against the original before using as it was not in Land rover packing, although it looks sound enough.

Shaft’s here. Looks ok

do you guys mind telling me if you paid for mail air for about £12 or standard air for about £23?
Package shows cost was 9.90 euros… don’t mind paying for packaging etc, but more than double is a bit steep!

I don't remember but seem to think the cheapest option was actually stated as faster than the next one up, I paid the cheapest postage as I was in no real hurry

Well I managed to muller the oil seals I ordered with the shaft, they are a tight fit fortunately I ordered some gaskets on ebay and they came with some more. The relay has now been rebuilt and the oil has remained inside so far. A mate said if you can maintain 60-70% we will call that a pass, cheeky bugger! The spring compression really is a proper bum clenching moment , espcially with home made tools. I did have my safety squint on though and goggles! It looks like new now.

Awesome job! I now have the parts, unfortunately I’ll be building mine back up in situ..

That sound like it will be all sorts of fun! Or not.

Don't forget the washers that go between the springs and bush. It would be most irritating to forget them once the spring tension has been released.
