Glitter? I know Gaylanderers are a bit gay but glitter coming out of them when they go wrong is a bit much isn't it?
personally I would ask what part was used, ie make what warranty is on it and you want it checked and replaced with a Corteco this time if of cause it is the pulley which is starting to sound like it is, also have those both belts checked and replaced with Genuine Contitech belts as above in my other post.
That might be a bit harsh. I'm have a good relationship with my mechanic. There are times when they do get it wrong - and they hate being reminded about it too - just like we all do! But there times when they do work and disturb things and another problem rears up. Things break and they have to replace them at no cost to us. Case in point, my sons car - taking the exhaust manifold off two studs snapped. It had to be sent away for the remains to be removed - no charge to the son for that bit but an extra two days off the road . Lol a short period of when the roads were safer!
