After taking my nephew out on Sunday and going down a lane we hit a brick covered bit. There was quite a bang then the steering wasn't quite the same. Looked under last night and saw this:

Am i right in thinking it is my steering damper?
How much is it for a new one? (Decent make)

It was a mile of loose broken bricks. The only other thing it could have been was Monday when a truck blew out I front of me, shooting it's tyre into the front of the truck.

I just bought a delphi de-carbon one off the old tinterweb for £33 delivered. Not sure if its any good but I know it'll definitely be better then the old one.

Of course a new steering damper is better than a clapped out one, but I wonder what u found that was better, my disco still has the original damper, still working as it's supposed too and without leaking any of its oil, as they sometimes do.

Only £17 delivered to replace with an OEM part.

I have delphi decarbon rear shocks and I can't fault them yet even being second hand they control my truck nicely
