no I was looking in front of the axle, not behind it albeit very oily
I noticed your Disco is a 95', have you removed the damper to see if it's still working? they tend to seize up with age. They are only cheap to buy & easy to replace
it explained the tendency to pull to one side though:doh: Gawd knows what it was off of but changing it made a massive difference.Turned out my one was spring loaded
