@dieseldog69 i think all those vacuum pipes we pondered over were actually part of the egr system. Every edc sensor and element are located on flywheel housing, transfer box etc. it does have a boost pressure sensor but that’s no drama. Would make a lot more sense if the above is the case. Might have a play and tidy up tomorrow

Coolant temp sender may be from days of air conditioning?
Coolant sensor on edc looks to be a mech sensor - I.e. an actual coolant hose. I don’t have that. I have two thin wires on a red plug. The 3 wires on the pump are what’s fitted to newer engines. Anti tamper stop solenoid. Rather than being the normal one I think this replaces the spider unit.
I think that just leaves us with the random vac hoses which look like the egr system.

Have yu got a small 2 pin round connector near that egr modulator?
not sure - there’s a 2 pin in the top? I’ll update in a bit as going to rip any confusion out and pull me wires through I think

That looks clean. Mine leaks oil from the rear ns of the rocker cover.
rhe whole reason for cleaning it is so I could actually spot leaks and problems! It was caked!!
