Static when filling - Pressure drops when filling - DO NOT ...............

It is only my way of thinking but once the drive quality is compromised by a "failing" TC then it is too late for the gearbox and valve block assy

Transmission Oil in the sump is lifted through an oil filter by the pump and then fed to the TC

The TC then under pressure feeds the autobox

So ANY swarf originated by the TC is NOT filtered so therefore box is always unprotected from debris

Some warning of drive quality are :-

No drive from cold for a small amount of time until system pressurises

Smooth as silk gearchange becomes "no longer smooth as silk" !

Downchanges become noticeable - hard to describe but easy to notice if you drove vehilce for a while and this effect starts happening

Gearchange eventually becomes jerky

Total failure can end up with no drive forward or reverse or gearbox locks in 3rd and is an absolute pig to pull away under 3000 rpm !!!

Any of the above mean the dreaded swarf is already making its way through the gearbox !

Unfortunately, the metal used for the valve block is soft and wears so you might like to consider a valve block upgrade while it's in bits.

Whilst driving on motorway today it went into "Motorway" ride height mode perfectly and "dropped out" to standard height once it sensed I was no longer cruising on motroway

So another big tick regarding my EAS repair :5bhurray:

EAS UPDATE

Over a month since I replaced the valve/solenoid assembly

All working perfectly and not 1 error message, not even an HDC In-Active

Access height, Off-road height, normal height and motorway cruise height

ALL PERFECT

It even "locks itself" when the tow bar electrics sense when my trailer was attached

Not gloating

BUT

L322 only front pumps up rear doesn't move seeing that compressor in boot could it be cross over valve launch computer says not enough pressure to inflate right hand rear but enough pressure to inflate the front ones ??????

Did you repair the leak you have on the front yet ??

No I can't find one can't get to top of airbag connection without taking whole thing out as far as I can see

Correct, you won't be able to get to the air connection without removing the complete strut. It's a 30 minute job to drop a strut, not so bad.

All sorts of weird things can happen if there's a fault with the suspension system. If there's that much of a leak in the front I doubt it very much that the back will even try to inflate

Whilst the compressor is near the rear, the air tank is mounted under the drivers side sill inbetween both front and rear....

My money is on the fact you have a leak.....and this will led to a knackered compressor

The fault says it cant raise the RH Rear.....you have a leak or a dicky valve block!

Hi im so glad i found this site im going to change mine and see if it works. Can you tell me if there is more than 1 of these solenoids or just the 1 many thanks Dan

Within the Valve Block are a few solenoids...As attached diagram.

What are your symptoms??
