starting problem

I have a 1999 2.0 xdi when i start it after being left for a while or over night i have to wind it over for along time before it will start once it has been started it fine and start first turn of the key can any one help

ONE GLOW PLUG FOOKED . . . .
 
Hi had the same problems with mine.
Put in three new glow plugs ,did not bother about the one behind
the injector pump. starts good now,and we have cold winters

Well i change the glow plugs and its still the same as before that was a waste of time and money anyone else have ant good ideas this time?

Golly Gulp. . . . .we normally get the continuity tester out and check the resistance of each wun to see if wun is fooked. . .yer have to disconnect each wire tother wise yer git back feed, but now you know they are all good :D :D :D
