Thanks Brian
The plot thickens
Wouldn't start again today when car was in hospital car park
I locked and unlocked many time with no success and then finally she started no problem
While I was trying to start the door locks were going up and down like a wh*** Kn******* at times but not all the time.
Seemed to be nearly starting when I stopped turning her over.
Is there a ballast resistor like I think some Fords used to have?

Well, I got mine from Island-4x4. I used to recommend them to everyone but then I had to send back a faulty part and ended up having to threaten legal action before my money was refunded. No communication at all. Pity as until then they'd always been great.

Always worth checking Rimmer Bros. Sometimes they surprise you. Actually, they always surprise but occasionally it is a nice one where they are cheaper. Dingocroft are similar.

Used Paddock Spares with no issues. And another place whose name I always forget, something like the Big Four.

Ok thanks Grrrr
I was worried that I would get a 2nd gen labelled as a 3rd gen but if these guys are ok then I will go ahead once The Boss has given me enough pocket money

Fitted new RF thingy a few weeks back and I still get the starting problem.
Last time I managed to get nanocom on it which said Camshaft sensor circuit malfunction. It wouldn't clear, but then car started o_O
I thought if it was broken it would stay broken
When car starts it runs just fine
