So current suggestion is shagged plugs?
i feel a finally sorted in the air......
it was already confirmed that your glow plugs are all shot so please replace them all to rule out this thing once and for all and even if that doesnt fix your issue at least you know they are OK which is compulsory regardless of some ''diesel guys'' from "Down Under" who are confusing a EUI engine with some classic diesel.... no offence pleaseSo current suggethey are OKstion is shagged plugs?
hi buddy,Sorry was rather tired last night when I re- read the thread!
Was going to go for NGK ones
I wont be able to change them till i have some downtime as if one snaps i havnt the time to fix it properly!
FFS sorry to hear that matey, but it is very common. There may be trouble ahead...keep an eye on my thread, damage sustained at the garage today. Therell be a different garage doing the plugs after whats happened. They're sorting it but I'll post all the details when it's put to bed
I'd put money on yours being glow plugs banksy
FFS sorry to hear that matey, but it is very common.
Mosts garages just ring a specialist mobile due to comes round and drills out n sorts, they do it all day long and charge around £50 a plug etc
What the hell. How?
Apparently the drivers door check strap failed. Never had a problem with it myself, the strap and slider bracket were in perfect nick, I know because I grease everything up regular therefore see it's condition. They're sorting it anyway, I wasn't gonna leave before they'd agreed to lol.
Chipped paint down to metal on bulkhead and door and damage to upper hinge where mirror arms whacked it
They're not doing the plugs if they can't open a door
name and shame who are they?coooksuckers someone walked into it when it was open ....... idiots
name and shame who are they?
ask to speak to top fella, not just of the workshop, explain you belong to landyzone forum, and others, explain you will be writing up your experience.
Explain that you reasonable , and accidents happen but what matters is how they are fixed and the attitude of the business and they they take responsibility and treat their customers
Its not just the damage it the inconvenience of not having your vehicle at this time if year, ask them if they have any idea how much it cost to hire a 4x4 per day theses days!
you'll yer money back, a full valet and a grovelling apology
