starter motor

Ive got a 2000 v6 with orange indicator lamps (Mk1?) starter motor is on the way out and just discovered horrible dealer price. Are there any options, is the sm any different on the Mk1 to the Mk11. I live in Bournemouth, has anybody got any ideas (sensible ones?)

do a search - bin covered many timrs - replace brushes

Oh.......... forgot to say dont do greasy things, other people better at doing that

Could be the answer, just buggered shogun and quickly grabbed this just to give them a go........... ooooops

(consider a swap for your gt40, might even chuck in one of my cameras........( if you ask nicely))

£40 to re-con your original starter motor.

Yes you will have to get your hands dirty to get it out but it isnt too bad.

Think of the money you will save paying a stealer.
