Subject: Closure of Long Causeway
Dear both
I understand that the Long Causeway has been temporarily closed by both Sheffield CC and Derbyshire CC following the collapse of a culvert at the weekend.
Could you please send me a copy of the closure notice, so we may publicise it via our contacts?
I would also appreciate any information you have on the probable duration of the closures, and the nature of repairs necessary. As you know, we are planning some maintenance to the Derbyshire stretch this summer, and would therefore welcome the opportunity to discuss the road repairs with this in mind.
Regards
Mike

Confirmed this morning that DCC (Highways) has put in place a 3 month closure to enable repairs to take place. The closure is prevents vehicles from using the route. The location of the problem is shown on the attached plan next to large stone gate posts.

yu could all join CRAG and help to repair it??? Put a little back that you've taken out???
Been advised repairs are to be coordinated between Free Spirit 4x4 and Derbyshire CC who have the machinery and authority to fix it.
I've been in touch and have put my name forward to help put it right as and when they arrange the weekend in which they'll carry out the necessary repairs.
Update: the repair work has been done but the road closed signs are still up.
That was quick.....and.......erm.......not so quick.
Maybe the repairs involve concrete or something really daft like sign removal is a different dept
wow, i take back the horrible things i said about DCC.
Apologies.
Ahh apologies from a Ginga, why dont all your lot do this more often?? it offends my eyes to look upon you, an apology is at least a start:rofl:
How about when im in warsaw later in the year i come dunk my testicles in your beer?
sounds good to me buddy, can i suggest we use vodka shots instead, i think you will find the fit a little more snug for you shrivelled ginga prunes
no on a more serious note, if you are coming here, give me a shout, i will take you out and show you some Polski off road, or alternatively get you ****ed and show you good polish titties in the Go Go clubs
