I have a defender 90 td5 not a truck and would like to get a stack exhaust on the opposite side to my snorkel does anyone know a garage that sells or can make and fit a stack ?
how about turning manifold upside down cutting hole in bonnet and the scaffolding poles
Gootcha.
Do people really put that on landy's!!
Yes, it's because they have small penises and need to make amends in other ways
I guess the main reason is to keep exhaust out of water when going for a dip!!.
No, the exhaust gasses will 'blow' water out.
Couldn't this be done as a quick add on remove thing if dipping!!
tractors have them stuck up so any sparks aint blown into dry hay or straw lying in the fields theys driving over, underslung exhausts on a slow moving tractor cabless tractor can mean the drivers breathing the exhaust fumes .
downside of a stack is it can collect water if stood out in heavy rain... enough to sit on top of a piston and cause a hydraulic lock. or seep down through into the engine oil and shag the bearings..
