Hi every body
I'm new in these parts and was wondering if any of you nice gentlemen could give me some guidance on how to find the damn fault i've checked all the plugs that i can find and dont want to have to take the car to a steeler.it's a disco2 td5 2001 plate

thank you for your time and help

I usually remove the steering wheel and put on a nice non-airbag steering wheel.
Then remove the airbag ecu and associated wiring:D

thanks for the help guys the light dose'nt always come on,i live near banff in aberdeen shire. i was wondering how the self diag works dose it measure a resistance of each component?, If i remove the air bag ecu dose the main ecu need reprogramming as with the air suspension?

One thing you can try is to disconnect and reconnect the yellow plug under each front seat half a dozen times. They are the plugs for the seat belt pretensioners, they suffer from poor contacts so put the warning light after the DCU self tests at key on.
The action of pulling the plugs apart then back together scratches the surface of the connectors making them less resistant to the passage of electricity.

I have the same problem of srs light staying on and read about the yellow connectors. My disco has leather seats and no yellow connectors, what can i do?

My SRS light was coming on with a fault drivers side circuit open, didnt care just left it

Last week left my disco on ignition for about 10 mins whilst ****ing about setting the windscreen washers and somehow it cleared the fault, light pops up then goes off when engine starts as it should……no idea why its fixed but I'm not complaining
