Have a small prob with the Freelander the srs light dose not come on at all like somebody has removed the bulb, so I removed the clock pack and can only see the back light bulbs took the cover off and there is just a printed bord no bulbs that I could see might be LEDs in there, and yes I did check the fuse
Ment to say it's a 1.8 2002 with 2A vin

You can have my light - it won't go off!

If you disconnect the connection under the seat and then switch on the ignition it wi create a fault and the light should come on - if not then it may well be the light bulb has been removed. Warning once you trigger a fault you tend to need a diagnostic to reset it.

shine a small torch at the back of the clock while looking at the front and that will tell you if the bulb has been removed. mine had because it stayed on all the time. i read the handbook that they need servicing every few years and this is why the light stays on but its not an mot failure yet but looks like its going to be next year so if yours is due one early next year get it in early before the new guidelines come in. the bulbs look like small plastic clips that sit in the board. take the handbreak one out and put it in the srs hole and then switch the ignition on and see if it stays lit. if the bulbs not there then someone will have removed it for prob staying on.

if your srs light will not go off it is due to the steering wheel air bag take the front of your steering wheel of and pull the contact off and make sure it is clean and put it back on should do the trick hope this helps
