stripped the top off my p38 diesel to see what the squealing was and boy did i get a shock
Pipes split and repaired with cellatape, bolts broken in manifold, heat shield in two pieces, oil leaking down side of engine
ive learnt a big lesson on buying one of these, but im glad i spent the time doing repairs.
took her up m1 and boy does she motor now, cruise control spot on sits at 90 or there abouts (carnt say anymore but it did ) Computer seems to have resett its self after strathstones cocked it up.
starting to realy like her now, misses has started driving her and she hasnt drove for years
still need to get some bits to get it how i want it
gonna rip out grey leather seats and get either black leather with black carpet or cream leather with red carpet, tint the windows and colour code the bumpers and mirrors
anyway thanks to all for advice

hi mate,
surprised just how much better it is running, when you boot it she flys, nether did that before she was flat, doesnt seem to use as much diesel now either.
misses even driving it and she wouldnt drive for years, our clio is just 3 years old and only done 10k she wouldnt drive it.
body in good condition for a 96 plate so i can live with it, get few more bits done over next few weeks
thanks for messages
