There’s a bit of trim can lift. Even seen few on here didn’t know it was missing.
Presumably that's to refit the newly covered headliner back to the car? - much the same as I did mine
You weren't sticking the new material on with the liner in the car surely?

What liner? 
I’d stuck it back with numerous types of glue (best of which was actually a Wilkis cheapy spray glue) while in situ. No good has to come out.
In end I copied kev12 just cleaned the board up painted it and put it back. cost £zero guaranteed to not sag for life.
Data used those button things like you get on a posh sofa looks really nice.
Whichever way you choose it makes huge difference to the overall feel and experience of the vehicle. Is hard to justify the amount of years I had it flapping about

I didn’t like the constant gatherings of orange crumbs from the lining flapping about. That really did my head in

I used the Martrim kit with a thick pair of walking socks on my hands to smooth it down. An easy afternoon.

just an update...
it is coming from the roof rail over the drivers side where it has slightly lifted and running towards the front of the car.
Any good sealant recommended?
