I am about to buy a Defender90 TD5 with worn out springs and shocks. What would be good replacements, it will be used for fun and a gentle green lane now and then.

How did you determine they were worn out. Could see new shocks at 85-100,000 miles but springs? Did they over load it with concrete or something?

Only by pushing and pulling on the roof rack, it rocked side to side very easily, also pushing down on the wing top, it dipped with little effort

I just fitted some Bilstein B6 shocks from Paddocks on my 110 CSW with new genuine springs. Ride is now transformed. My 2 cents.
