Hi All,
My Freelander HSE has two black spot lights on the front that look a bit like plant-pots. They do not work and having investigated, I have discovered that in the fuse panel on the driverside is a black and red wire that have a white plug on them , this is the feed to the spotlight switch. Question is where should it be plugged in to get the pos and neg feed ? I cant see anywhere on the fuse console that takes the plug and I dont see any other floating matching sockets.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The white socket you have should connect to the switch by your right knee and to a feed on the back of the instrument panel (black connector, top left at the back of the instrument panel)

From your white plug, there should be an extension loom for RHD cars that has a matching red/black cable with white plug. This runs across the passenger side and up through the large grommet behind the fuse box in the engine bay (you have to remove the fusebox to get to it). From here it should run to a relay that takes a direct live feed from the battery.

I wired mine in yesterday, hence very familiar with this!!!!
