Speedo dont work

Took the motor for it's MOT yesterday (and it passed first go!) but on the way to the garage the speedo got stuck as 25, then fell back to 0 and has not realy worked properly since then. But the millage is keep clocking up.

Any ideas?

wud it be a daft suggestion to say "the needle has fallen orf the drive pin"?

it did on mine! got disturbed when i had to remove dash after settin fire to it!(by accident, not my fault)
Still a bit wavy but it moves so that'l do! didn't fail mot on it so guess must be close at 30!

Its always been wavy so it could be that.
