I bought a 25 piece set of Neilsen combi spanners from either the billing or lro show cant remember, for less than 30 quid, theyre all there no gaps until mid 20s, only cheap but theyve proved tough to me so far and ive abused them, theyre on amazon and ebay etc. I liked the roll they come with, labelled up and you can roll em up or hang them on the wall, mine hang from the work table easy to grab, recommend em :)

They also do a larger set with swan necks and curved spanners too, but i got the simple stuff!

I have an exact copy, except they are "made" by Silverline and the roll is blue, they do take a lot of abuse when required.

Cheers

To be honest, and am probably wrong, I can't see the need for them !!

I have a set and they do have a use, but as a main set they're incredibly frustrating. The swivel isn't stiff quite enough, so although they'll stay at the desired angle as you move it to the nut they will try and travel up and down the hex - particularly when you have a lot of turns to do. A friend has a set which he welded up to fix them straight, and bought a further set with the head angled slightly. I'll probably do the same.

I have a few that have the lever for changing direction, and much prefer them to the flip over ones - which seem to be like USB plugs, always the wrong way up.
