Got the APRR gizmo in the screen. What a leap of faith driving towards the peage barrier at 30 to see it go up just in time to allow you through.

I've just got one of these but my Disco does not have the 'hatching' area behind the rear morror in which one is told to attach it. My windscreen element just seems to fill the whole area so i am keeping my fingers crossed that it works!

Have faith. We've all got it in different places and it works. Use the 30 lane if there is one ( it's not always there). It works better than the ' normal' lanes'. If using a normal lane, don't be afraid to go VERY close to the barrier.

Will remember this ..... but I'll still have my fingers crossed!! :):)

I'll be in the 3. Hopefully with a vastly overpriced fog light that needs fitting :-(
That's if the Stealers have one in stock. Then have a choice - do we MOT it. It's one week early hmmm

I'll be there ... new rear prop to fit .. easier than sitting in the puddles at home .. ;)

Good meeting last night, thanks for the use of the lift, made an easy job even easier!

Is the shock still OK Pete?

I have a few lanes already for Northumberland, but no route yet .. ;)

Yeh daft as it sounds it does feel better! Still holdin as far as I know, no reason why it shouldn't tim threw enough weld at it!

Ok chaps and chapesses .. the next workshop meet, Monday the 1st September .. ain't gonna be at the workshop.

Well, it can be, but I'll be at Mcdonalds, see our Facebook page for which one, from about 6.30 pm. I'll be leaving at about 7pm, so if you want a Maccy D meal, get there sharpish-like! Hopefully a few of you will join me and we can have a go at some pretty decent lanes, a few that are a bit crappy and a couple of others that I absolutely love!!

It's mostly a route I took Mark on when we first met a few years ago, but with a couple of extra lanes thrown in. Unfortunately, as ever, there are a few road miles, but that's the nature of the terrain, sorry. It is likely, this time of year, to possibly be scratchy and overgrown, no harm in that I say .. I know some of you have done most of the lanes before, but it's not a bad route and it's always a bit different depending on seasons.

We'll finish in Bawtry centre, there's a large car park there and it's closest after the lanes for those of you heading back to Chesterfield, there aren't really any more on our way home after Bawtry

Obviously, if anyone wants to, and Mark or Stacey are OK with it, then we could meet at the workshop, but we'll only be heading back to the roundabout at J1, albeit maybe by a couple of lanes that we're gonna do on the route anyway!

Nice one mate.

if everyone wants to meet at the workshop I have an alternative start route, with a couple of small lanes on the way, but they're farm tracks really, not worth it normally other than as a short cut, though I drive them as often as, just to make sure they _are_ driven!

Mc Donald's sounds great Paul only normal day is second Monday of month ?? I'm easy what ever majority want cheers fellas see you all soon

1st Monday if that's OK .. I'm away at a nieces wedding 2nd Monday, well the Saturday and Sunday and (hopefully) won't be in a proper fit state to drive .. days off work etc.

To be honest .. I forgot which Monday we had it! ')

I'll tell you nearer the date if that's ok Paul. 1st Monday clashes with Glass meetings. I'll see which I go to......

Mark - is the garage meet still the 2nd Monday in Sept or are we missing it this time?
