I was looking at the website and all the quotes from people who are there was like "i had a great time, it was really good, broke my land rover in half tho, but still had fun"....

anyone been today, im going tomorrow for a poke around the auto jumble but not taking landy

I went, was a good day out. Good choice of stalls too. They have Camel vehicles on display, G4 vehicles and many military Landy's too. (Including the lightweight series)

The off road course was fun. Decided to go in one of their Disco 1's as opposed to attempting it in my Freelander. The driver said the Freelander would have "bottomed out" due to low ground clearance. The disco (unmodified / AT tyres) did it with no problem, very impressive.

One guy killed his V8 rangie when he took it through the water pit though. They had to use a Disco + another 4x4 buggy to pull it out. Apparently they're prone to electrical failure when wading? I'd say the water depth was moderately deep. Other than that, all the Disco's and Defenders went round with ease, although some did slide around a bit when they took the wrong line. I would have tried it in my Freelander (heck, there's plenty of people to pull me out) but there's also plenty of people standing around watching. Apparently nobody took a Freelander around the course that day (or at least, not when I asked) If I got stuck (due to ground clearance) I am sure my pics would have appeared on many Landy forums. :p
