South Dorset Green Laning

Will be going to Matchams tomorrow, in the Classic with a pal who's just bought a land cruiser for some unknown reason. Maybe he doesn't like fixing his truck I'm not really sure?!

Never been down there so looking forward to it. Also just to chime in on muddy bottom. I went a couple of times last year in my unmodifed Disco 1. Had all terrains on and that was about it. Was a good laugh got stuck several times but was happily pulled out by the marshals.

They let anyone in there was a guy in a little Japanese thing with road tyres going round, definitely worth a visit.

I know who your mate is I work with him and hes been asking me loads of questions about off roading :):):):)
 
Ah really! Haha, I tried talking him into getting a LR but went Jap.

Will see what it's like tomorrow!

On another subject I removed my tow bar yesterday in prep for tomorrow, and had to resort to getting the angle grinder out. I know have no rear towing eye and can't be arsed getting the remainder of the bolt out today. Do u think ill need a rear towing eye for tomorrow?

Yeah tried to persuede him a d2 was the way forward!


Best off having somewhere to be recovered from tomorrow as if you go into the bog it gets knarly

Not sure where ill be coming from yet, may still be in Southampton so may be coming from there. Will let you know though. Maybe somewhere further down possibly A31 junction to Bournemouth or around there??

dont mind bud not really anywhere to meet near a31 junction but if you know your way we can meet there ?
 
Is everyone still going Sunday?. My Landys coming off the road for a few months 2nd April so would be good to get it muddy again!
