I use mackays in cambridge, as they can cut/fold/weld what you need & I think you get a good discount when you buy by the sheet or 6 metre length.

Or just try Google for local Fabricator welders, coachbuilders etc etc, go along, knock on door, tell them what you want, and as has been said you will probably get all you need out of their scrap bin for the price of a couple of pints. Has worked for me in the past

I'm in Axminster and always get my steel from quicks engineering in Kilmington! Good guys and they always seem cheap, they recently folded some steel into channel for me the other week!
