Hi,
Every time I post it seems to be about a problem so sorry. I also keep saying I'm scrapping the RR and yet here we are 5 years on
So the latest bit of fun is that I went to take the kids to school this morning and heard a horrible grinding noise from the drivers read wheel, like metal on metal. Only when moving and seems to be worse when going forward, then reversing back.
I initially thought brake pads, but on inspections looks like there's plenty left on them, so I started shaking the disc shield round the disc, then I saw a screw drop down. Using a bit of force I managed to get the screw out of the cover, I tried moving the car again and the noise was still there.
I'd like help identifying the screw first off, that might give me a bit of a clue, here is it, it looks like a 5mm Hex socket:
And here's a video of the car moving and the sound:
As I said I keep threatening to scrap it but it's got 10months MOT and I annoyingly still love driving it, so see what's up with it this time
Thanks in advance!
