Good Morning,
Every year around that time the internal fan gave up his ghost and after a bit of electronic spray it came back to life till the next year. Since this year it's failing and restarting again, so I was wondering if that plug you be purchased separately or could I just pull and change the connectors to it? Otherwise I guess to cut if off and put some shoes on to connect it again.

Took it off today as on the road it stopped working again. The plug was pretty muddy so cleaned it some thinner and took the fan off as well to clean it and put now some battery terminal grease on it. Will see how it goes.

Was there any green corrosion on it ?

to keep the water out put some dielectric grease in there ...
 
It started again on Saturday, when pressing the plug in it works again. It seems to slip out as the little nose doesn't hold it and the rubber cover pushes it back. Put some duct tape and a cable tie surround it. Hope that'll be it.

Sounds like the locking tab has broken off ...

Yes correct, again slipped off. Put the plug from the fan on that I had under the attic. Hopefully that'll be it. Didn't slip out that easy when testing it.
