what was the issue with the alternator?
what was the issue with the alternator?
Fitted a known alternator from another soft dash and it works fine, the local repair shop can't see whats
wrong with mine so i've ordered a new one.
Wiper linkage has cleaned up well, its rust free and now powder coated satin black.
The doors were fitted to make life easier during the move to the new workshop so i
grabbed a couple of pics

Lower tailgate is being prepped ready for paint along with the scuttle panel.
Shouldn't be too long before its off to be mot'd then into a mates bodyshop
to look at the paintwork

I'm cleaning the side/indicator units as the insides were quite grubby and new headlights are on order.
Looks like i shall have to make a custom tow eye as mines missing, apparently they're different on the soft dash

There are a few soft dash being broken on flebay, might be worth seeing if they have any tow eyes
Don't suppose you've got any links or contact details for these, i've searched and can't find any. phoned up a few places now and no one has soft dash parts
