I'll get flamed for suggesting this especially with it not being a landrover but for 2k the Suzuki Jimnys are great especially for females who don't have a clue about switching 4wd. I sourced my mate an 03 model and we took it offroading that day and through several 4 foot deep water passes and it never missed a beat.

**** taking a corner too quick in it mind you

Thanks a bunch guys,
Been chatting a bit over things, looking at a couple choices, as said if she doesn't like it she won't drive it!

And unless its something she doesn't like that i do! (Like that's gonna happen!) Then a disco is probably a safe bet of something we both like. She can drive the defender fine.
