2002 TD4 owned from new, now on 70,000miles and has given 69,999miles trouble free motoring.
One breakdown was the windscreen wiper linkage which was mended with a cable tie.
We also have the 1998 Camel, which has had 107,000 hard miles of fun. Has had a fair few transmission components replaced but what do you expect? No complaints from me, it is a pluckly little car.
All in all, have spent less maintaining on the -two- Freelanders than I have on the Defender 90.
Cheers
