this will make some people laugh...
the day before this happened, my girlfriend smashed into the back of me in hers, pictured behind, more cosmetic damage to hers but still drivable!! lol. my advice to anyone when driving behind a landy would be, to make sure nothing can slip off your seat and get trapped underneath the brake pedal!!!! - Well done girl.

haha I had some plastic lid pop under my clutch, so not awful, like brake but bit strange lol. We learn, she learns, you learn etc lol.
About landy, I hit a rather land snowball the other day and damaged my front bumper, which niped in to the wing, which bent the outer and inner wing. I also then noticed big steering issues, which led me to changing the track rod, but also had to change the steering pump, and the drop arm ball joint, but that was already damaged. So not sure if the snowball hurt the track rod, pump but, it all needed replacing, and now im seriously skint! But, its driving fine now.

oh, where you get your wheels/tyres from. were they a set and how much. I love them beasts! Do you need to get a lift kit sorted before you can have such big wheels? Currently I have not had a lift kit done.

just out of interest, how do the springs look ? does the shocker look upright in them or is it angled? as it does look like the axle is sitting further back than it should. as has been said before the radius arm mount may have been shunted back.

hi all, cheers for the comps. yeh springs and shocks all fine, i think. as far as getting this crap on your trucks, i would say several things i have found - you need a +2" lift at least, the articulation is still crap unless you cut out the arches, with mine i havent bothered cos i went for looks more than practicality! you need to invest in all the necessary trailing arms, radius arms, decent bushes and hd carden or wide angle props, just to make it drive safe on the road! the wheels, tyres shocks and springs i got off a mate for 550 quid only 6 months old so i was lucky! 2.5td far too gutless for the tyres, off road on clay it goes in straight lines only! i would say one plus is you can do 60 miles and it will only quote 53 on your tachometer! not that that really matters on a landy of this age. i would say to anyone set asside at least 2500 to get it looking like that, spend the money, cos i did it the cheap way and paid the prices!

that is just parts, with me doing it, suspension is easy with a mate and a jack! radius/trailing arms more difficult - more jacks and a mate. propshafts easy. garage i wouldnt know what they would charge.

Yeh, that's including 35" bfg muddies, 15x10 modulars. Trailing and radius arms and bushes, d. Carden props, springs and shocks. Would you not agree? Lol. I guess call it 2k for ok parts and 2.5k for good parts.
