I've got the first one. Its done me proud so far, an I think they look better than the safari's. Speshly on Deependers.

Safari ones have that stoopid head on em which gets snagged in trees....they either twists em round or snaps em off.....go wiv a round one

the safari sits closer to the vehicle and the mounts are wayyy stronger. you can twist the head around 180 degrees to prevent tree damage sirus. prob with mushroom top ones, like paddocks, is that it sticks out from the wing and where it goes into a rubber tube section, this can get damages by branches, thorn bushes. mate of mine had to gaffer his up because there are tons of pin pricks throughout that rubber connecting hose. id personally go with a tough plastic safari or mantec model.

The good thing wi the paddocks one tho, is yu can **** the top off it on a height barrier, watch it bounce off down the road, get run over, then still go pick it up, stick the fooker back on and its fine. I've done that 3 times now.

Installed a Safari which was straight forward (ish).

The discovered my roof was installed by gibbons and the gutters are so low I can't open the nearside doors with a roof rack on (no sign of gutter abuse, just built badly).

So, could mount a roof rack on an external cage but this would mean moving the snorkel, *rse!

Before you decide on a snorkel do you want to ft a cage?

I got a bearmach snorkel the same as the paddock style one. The only problem I have found is that the rubber grip rings on the clamps vibrated loose in the first month and had to be repositioned and re-tightened. Noprobs since though.
