Snorkel question

Hi all,

Im after a snorkel to fit to my freelander 1 diesel, can anyone tell me where i can get one or know of one that i can get and modify to fit ?

I know where you can get some as per this pic below...

As for Mantec style ones, unless you can find someone selling a used one, you'll not be able to get one.
 
Nick, tech manager/guru at mantec. google their phone number.Hes also a resident disco2boysclub nut.
 
Last time I spoke to him he had virtually nowt left of anything and said there were no snorkels, that was a couple of months ago.

Either myself or another member on here can supply the aerodynamic ones, believe there are 3 currently left at £160
 
Does anyone do this style snorkel that fits the other side??

I have the Td4, but don't want to go to all the expense of separating out the pipework and re-routing it to the passenger side..

Would be nice to fit one on the drivers side..

Either way you'd need to route pipework from the snorkel, and the passenger side is a shorter travel!

The mould is a LH mould, would need to be replicated as a RH mould
 
or you could do this??

Not my picture, but you could do the pipework like this in either direction..

the problem with the passenger side is there is more to negotiate,
the drivers side already has the airflow and little to get in the way..
 
There's a nice hole in the inner wing near the top, perfect size for weaving pipework through, I need to look at it properly if/when I get one
