Snapped bonnet release???

Hi
I snapped my bonnet release on my 90 whilst showing a potential buyer round last week.
I have taken the front grill off, what's the easiest way getting the bonnet open from this point?

Any tips on fitting the new cable would be appreciated to.

Just push noggin that the wire goes through.
