Can you check you have pressure at the rail? IE - enough to feed the injectors. There’s an oring that’s common to go on the pressure regulator which is cheap easy fix
I did,ask yourself where did all the oil go from your old engine? This is the problem with having two posts on the same subject.Take it off and chuck it on bonfire.

More likely to be full of oil from the previous knackered engine.have you tried driving it hard for several miles as you say it has been smoking for months perhaps silencer has got damp inside with soot and some oil?
Well you can take the advice i gave you in your post" advice please " or put a new exhaust on.Old oil some must of go in to the exhaust did not no this till I had the turbo off
Just one on the td6, I wonder if he thought I meant throw the car on a bonfire instead of just the exhaust.I’m guessing old engine blew turbos lol.
