Hi All ,
Just wondered if you could clarify something for me,When my defender 300 tdi is sat overnight and then I start it up I get a small amount of smoke coming out.Does this mean I need new rings or a decocke .Please Help ???

to clarify, does the smoke come from the business end or the tail pipe ?

its supposed to do that, the cold start jobby on the fuel pump overfuels to assist with starting when cole, hence the puff of smoke.

Yes it does come from the tailpipe end.I know its not relevant but I have only been greenlining and its only done 79k
