Will this work on a 200 Manuel
tbh it was all running fine until the head gasket blew about a month or so ago and ive now repaired that but just does'nt seem the same since. i'm seriously looking at putting it all back to standard and starting again a little bit at a time.
no not checked it but surely that would show a drop on the boost gauge, if only seeping back down slowlyCompression test? Even just to rule it out but yes back to standard might make it easier to diagnose the issue.
I assume you've double checked the boost pipe from turbo to FIP....possibly damaged refitting the head?

private messaged you mateI'd have thought so. Just thinking if nothing else has changed except the head coming off and going back on something in that process is likely the problem.
The pipe could be pinched or kinked, where are you measuring boost from?
right i know this thread has been going on for a while now but i am having abit of trouble with my disco and i am stumped as to what it can be. so here is what i have done to my disco torx screw has been screwed down 1 1/2 turns, star wheel 1/4 turn & and boost pin fitted. i have silicone hoses fitted also a full size allisport intercooler fitted. daddy screw has been turned 1 full turn, when running i have 1 bar of boost showing on the boost gauge. now the boost gauge starts to rise at just over 1000 revs which seems early to me and i'm struggling to get anything over 60mph (on the straight flat road) out of the vehicle atm. (i am running 265/75/16 tyres) what am i doing wrong ? or what could the problem be? thanks in advance
+1 ^^^^If you have played and don't know what you are doing and the engine is down on power, having daft tyres on that raise the overall gear ratio won't help a lot. At an indicated 60 you are doing 65.4 MPH.

IMO anything over 65.4 mph in a Disco with daft tyres on it is frankly life threatening!
yeah I second that , done 65 the other day and omg not to mention it was blowing 30mph out too. Im going to do this on my disco 300tdi , im guessing its the same fuel lift pump for auto and manualIMO anything over 65.4 mph in a Disco with daft tyres on it is frankly life threatening!
