could someone please tell me the name of these two pipes or part numbers Thor 4.6 year 2000

Look like the heated inlet manifold pipes to me. You can do away with it. Just get a piece of i/d pipe the same and bypas the hoses at the other ends. I'm sure someone will give you the size, its a common mod.

Hi pete, Alan is correct they are the throttle body heater pipes, you can bypass the throttle body heater plate very easily. One of those pipes return to the expansion tank and one connects to a small nipple on the inlet manifold just behind the air con pump, what i did was remove the air con pump and put to one side, no need to disconnect hoses, next remove both throttle body pipes, get a length of hose i think the inside diameter is either 4 or 6 mm, place one end of hose onto the nipple of the inlet manifold and the other end of the hose attach to the expansion tank, it will make no difference to the running of the car once the heater plate is removed and on the upside no more leaks (as they always do). I replaced mine with a length of sillicon hose from ebay. Its an easy job and should only take half an hour. Hope this helps - regards Paul.
